Barnes women doing what we do best
after these 6 days of dallas progress, i sped up to seattle to see my fiancee for a few hours before taking a red eye to salt lake city, then san antonio and then del rio, texas to visit REM! so much travel but quite worth it to see my big brother. he is flying T9 Texans and kicking major butt here and it's great meeting his friends that are helping each other get through pilot training. it freaks me out that rem is a few flights away from flying an aircraft on HIS OWN. blah, i can't believe that. his friends are so awesome and a blast to be around.
he is putting me to work tomorrow running errands, making dinner, cleaning the apartment and giving shadow (the dog) a bath. silly me for thinking this was a vacation (: i also need to squeeze in time to work on the save the dates and homework...JUST KIDDING. i don't think i mentioned it here but i graduated on march 17 and am now relishing no homework, unemployment and endless possibilities for my future.
more to come on texas domination 2009 - we still have the mustachio bashio, tour of del rio AFB, roller skating party, wake boarding on the reservoir and much more.
Ahhh... debating over the rehearsal dinner. That was a HUGE debate for my future milaw and I. I wanted small intimate... she wanted everyone to come (grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, attendants) I have learned that some battles are worth giving up- Especially if she is paying for them. :) I'm glad you found THE dress! That's so exciting! Where did you end up getting it from?
ReplyDeletegot it from bridal gallery in downtown salem of all places! it was exactly like the one i fell in love with from seattle but a fourth of the price. the lady that owns the shop is an awesome christian girl too. we also figured out the cake and now all i can think about is sinking my teeth into chocolatey deliciousness (: how's planning going for you emi?
