yesterday

was a big day in the world's of some of my dearest friends.

ashly, matt and will all tracked and got helicopters, T-1s and T-44s respectively. that means that ash moves to fort rucker alabama, will moves to corpus christi and matt stays in the dirty d. though there was some disappointment involved, i'm super proud of ash, matt and will for all they've done to get to this point. we had a rousing wednesday night celebration at will's house. margaritas, coronas, dos equis and tequila shots began promptly at 5 and we had siiiiiiick fajitas (courtesy of will) while watching the mexico vs. usa futbol game. after a little call of duty, we drove the jeep out to the reservation (turning out to be a wednesday night theme...) and drank, looked for meteors and...I SAW MY FIRST FIREFLY! whoohoo. that was a big deal for me. i even tracked it into the sagebrush and caught it (pictures to come). then matt, will, tyler and i went to the white horse for more drinks. we played round robin for who picked and paid for the drinkys but ended up with irish car bombs, coors light, and two rounds of water moccasins, yum.

tonight is a packing party at erik and julie's, who are off for ft. rucker on saturday morning. we'll pack up the uhaul, eat rudy's, have some brews, go to spin class and keep packing. love it.

this weekend will be the 10-06 track party (friday night) and mayyyyyybe a trip to san antonio with the gang to get inked (: stay tuned...
