the hit show parenthood never fails to hit my heartstrings with each new episode. though only in its second season, i can't possibly see this gem going anywhere anytime soon. on top of it's relevance, poignancy, and realistic portrayal of modern family dynamics, it's got a killllllller soundtrack filled with tasty artists like amos lee, the swell season, jason ritter & more. here's a little ear snack from lucy schwartz singing a live version of "when we were young" from said soundtrack. it's not the most amazing quality but, what can you do? youtube this girl and see if she piques your interest
