a little math

53 days. that is how long i have lived in texas.

5 + 3 = 8. august is the eighth month and saw me get truly settled in del rio. i feel like i belong here. i KNOW i made the right choice in moving. i moved away from a lot of hurt, from many whom i love but i moved into God's will for me. i had to come because i had to obey.

48 hours. that is how long it will be until my heart arrives in del rio. spencer is coming. he is coming and i will be whole for a glorious five days.

4 + 8 = 12. the twelfth month is december which will be the next time i blow back into the northwest. that is far too long to be away from home. but i suppose c'est la vie in the real world.

1+2 = 3. 

3 x 10 = 30. my parents were wed thirty years ago today. i interviewed them yesterday and today on what they did the day before, how they felt, etc. i can only hope in my heart of hearts that, one day, i will be as deeply content and richly blessed as they have been in marriage.
